1. On June 11, 2019, the Athens Police Department responded to Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, located at 983 E. State St. for the theft of a Yale 5 ton forklift belonging to the business. Surveillance footage from June 8, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM, showed a white male driving the forklift off of the property and it was left unattended at a business approximately a mile away. The board is offering up to a $500 reward for information on this crime. (See attached photograph of suspect)
