The City of Athens Water and Wastewater Laboratory is located at 15 E. Park Drive. The water and wastewater lab technicians run the required tests the City must perform to ensure we are supplying safe drinking water and not polluting the Hocking River with sewage. We report these results regularly to the Ohio and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. We also provide fee-for-service testing to other water and wastewater operations, as well as private citizens, when requested.
