Sealed Bids for the 2023 Street Improvements for the City of Athens, Ohio will be received by the City of Athens, Ohio, at the City Building, 8 East Washington Street, until 2:00 P.M on Thursday, July 6, 2023. At that time and place, they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  All bids will be con­sidered valid until 60 days after the opening date, although not accepted or rejected.

 The work for which proposals are invited includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for the repair, milling, and resurfac­ing of streets.

 The engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost for the Base Bid of the Project is $402,095.00.
